Churston Builders – The Torbay and South Hams Builder. House of Handsome Barber Shop Fit Out, Paignton.

This was an unusual project for Churston Builders – a barber shop fit out in Paignton. The brief was to produce a stylish hipster hangout with a retro industrial feel where the modern style-conscious man could go for a regular trim, relax, have a beer and enjoy a bit of quality man time!

The empty shell was studded and boarded and made ready for the application of rustic cast brick slips which would cover the main feature walls. A bar/customer service unit was constructed and finished in matching brick slips. The floor was tiled with hard-wearing oversized black slate then style-matched electrical fixtures and fittings went in alongside the barbering hardwear. As you can see from the pictures the end result was stunning!
